With over 450 recognized clubs, UCR has a vibrant and diverse community of student organizations for everyone on campus. Don't see a club you're interested in? You are welcome to start your own group and share your interests and passions with other like-minded people.


Student Life has created a support network of resources and professional staff to make starting and managing a student organization as fun and educational as possible. Our dedicated Student Organization team members will walk you through the registration process, can fill out forms with you, and can even advise you on event planning, fundraising, marketing, and how to grow your organization. Workshops and organization retreats are just some of the ways Student Life will be with you every step of the way as you grow alongside your club.

For New Student Organization Registration in Fall Quarter 2026, the window to register a new club begins Monday, September 28th, 2026. To get started, email ucrlife@ucr.edu with your question and they'll connect you to the right advisor! Keep in mind that Fall New Organization Registration will CLOSE on Friday, October 30th, 2026. No exceptions. You will need to have the entire process completed by October 30th in order to register your new organization. Otherwise, you'll need to pick it back up again in Winter Quarter 2027.
