UCR Leadership Certificate Program:
Enhancing Leadership Skills for Personal Growth
The Leadership Certificate Program is a new initiative being launched by Student Life. It aims to enhance student’s leadership capabilities through practical experience.
Program Competencies
The program consists of five unique competencies with workshops and activities designed to enhance leadership skills. The five competencies are:
Program Tiers
The Leadership Certificate Program is structured into three tiers, each tier requiring a set number of hours per competency.

2. Submit Your Application: Complete the application using the link below. Applications are accepted year-round; to be considered for the Spring 2026 cohort, students must apply by April 15. Applications received after this date will be considered for the Fall 2026 cohort.
3. Receive Your Decision: You will be notified of your application status via email.
4. Attend Orientation: Accepted students will attend a brief orientation to gain access to program materials and resources.
5. Begin Your Leadership Journey: Start engaging with the program and developing your leadership skills.
