Collaborative Multicultural Council (CMC)

The goal of the Collaborative Multicultural Council is to establish a symbiotic relationship between the cultural fraternities and sororities. The council is comprised of 20 organizations: some that belong to the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), some to the National Asian Pacific Islander American Panhellenic Association (NAPA), and some are local and/or regional organizations.  For additional information, visit cmcatucr.weebly.com

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

The Interfraternity Council is comprised of seven men’s fraternities that belong to the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The object of this organization is to promote the general welfare of all member fraternities; to encourage the development and growth of the IFC at UCR members; to provide educational, social, and service activities that will enhance member fraternities.  For additional information, visit highlanderlink.ucr.edu.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

Join a historically African-American fraternity or sorority at UCR!

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), also known as the “Divine Nine," is comprised of one men’s fraternity and three women’s sororities. NPHC groups have a strong tradition of serving the community and an international scope that reaches beyond college. Membership is open to all.

  • Give back to the community.
  • Enjoy lifelong friendships.
  • Network and grow as a professional.
  • Attend annual events such as Midnight Breakfast, Yardshow, NPHC Week, Stroll Off Competition, Unity Day, and Black Graduation.
  • Help a new group develop on campus.
