Held each spring, the Highlander Day of Service is just one opportunity for you to

Large scale service days are awesome ways for you to join a large group of people in doing service! There is one large scale service day held every quarter. In the Fall (10/13/18), we will provide students with the opportunity to get involved with Love Riverside. In the Winter (1/21/18), we will be hosting Martin Luther King Day of Service. In the Spring, Alumni Relations will host Highlander Day of Service.

Service Learning

  • Step 1: Create a Handshake Profile:  
    Visit app.joinhandshake.com to create a new Handshake profile. If you already have a profile, add UC Riverside to your school list. To find us, search "Riverside" in the schools list. 
  • Step 2: Post Volunteer and Community Service Opportunities to Handshake. Post all volunteer opportunities you wish to share with UCR students.
