Commuter Services: Your Road Map to Success
Welcome to the online home of Commuter Services, where the road to graduation meets the super highway of convenience. Below, you’ll find several campus programs and online resources to help you get where you need to go!
UCR Commuter Resource Guide
Here’s a resource guide written specifically for commuters. In it, you’ll find the location and hours of the various food venues, parking details and other valuable commuter information. Download the UCR Commuter Resource Guide.
Commuters At Riverside (CAR) Student Organization
Commuters At Riverside (CAR) Student Organization was created to help students establish a supportive network of peers, develop friends and become socially connected to the UCR campus. Students interested in participating in the CAR student organization should e-mail Adam Daniels.
UCR Commuter Pit-Stops
The Commuter Pit-Stop is targeted at the UCR students who drive significant distances to come to campus and functions like a meet-and-greet information booth. It is generally held the first Wednesday and Thursday of every month. Come by for a Pit-Stop, grab a donut and some coffee!
Commuting Alternatives
Tired of paying hundreds of dollars in gas a month? Transportation And Parking Services (TAPS) offers numerous programs to help commuter students deal with the unprecedented pain at the pump. TAPS offers carpools, van pools, campus shuttles, bike racks and more. Learn more about programs offered by TAPS.
