The Emerging Leaders Program is non-credit course, which meets weekly during the Winter quarter. It is designed to educate students in the area of leadership and to provide new campus leaders with the tools necessary to become more effective leaders. Blending workshops, presentations, practical applications and personal experiences, this program allows students to acquire and enhance skills and knowledge by exploring the basic foundations of leadership. Featured topics in the past have included: Leading with Charisma, Strategic Planning, Leading with Courage, Becoming an Ethical Leader, Creativity, Personal Mission Statement, Leadership Styles, Teambuilding, Building Your Leadership Expertise, Communication and Effective Public Speaking, Nurturing Diversity and Group Dynamics.
Graduates of UCR’s Emerging Leaders program have stated:

When Does the Emerging Leaders Program Meet?
During the winter quarter of 2008. Information the Emerging Leaders program will be available during fall quarter 2007. The program meets once per week during winter quarter.
