Block Party
Friday, September, 28, 5 - 9 p.m., Aberdeen & Inverness
This year’s Block Party will feature game booths, over 100 student organizations selling food and providing interactive booths, attractions, henna tattoo artists, student dance performances and three bands - Cavil at Rest, William Tell and The Plain White T’s.

Block Party After Party
Friday, September 28, 9 p.m. - 2 a.m., Recreation Center
Extend the Block Party festivities into the evening and help the Unity Day Coalition raise money for the 16th Annual Unity Day. Open to all UCR students and non-UCR College Students. All students must show valid college ID. Admission: $5.00

Nooner Kick Off & Campus Involvement Fair
Wednesday, October 3, 12 - 2 p.m., Commons Lawn
The first Nooner of the weekly series featuring performances by the Cool Kids, Satisfaction and 909 Hip Hop. Enjoy the entertainment and learn more about student organizations, campus volunteer opportunities, departments and services at the Campus Involvement Fair - enjoy free giveaways and music to boot! sponsored by ASPB, Student Life, and the Commons.

Monte Carlo Night
Saturday, October 20, 9:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m., Aberdeen & Inverness
Monte Carlo is a UCR tradition to not be missed. Come and experience the thrill of casino style gaming and have the opportunity to win wonderful prizes like a trip to Las Vegas, UCR Spirit Clothing, and much much more. In addition to the gaming we will have a live band, poker tournament, and a night club scene you will not soon forget. Do not miss out on this amazing event sponsored by Housing Services, Residence Hall Association, ASPB, and the division of Student Affairs.

CommUnity Festival and Concert
Thursday, October 25, 6 - 9 p.m., Commons Lawn
Unity in the Community will bring students together as a community and acknowledge and celebrate the richness of our diverse cultures. The event will be free and open to all UCR Students. Performances by Ozomatli and D'Lo. Sponsored by African Student Programs, Asian Pacific Student Programs, Chicano Student Programs, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center, Native American Student Programs, Women's Resource Center, ASPB, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Commons.
